Gainesville Florida Veterinary Feline Center.
The Feline Center at Oaks opened in December of 2004. Renovations were extensive and the staff is proud of this facility. Decorated in cheerful sunny tones, this space is a welcome addition for all cat lovers.
The Feline Center has a separate entrance and reception area, directly accessible from the parking lot. Comfortable seating is available for a short wait while the receptionist prepares your record. There are two fully equipped and enclosed examination rooms. Here, the doctor joins the client and feline patient for the examination and consultation. Some diagnostic services and treatments are also performed in these rooms.
The feline kennels have large "condo" cages, which contain perching shelves at various heights, blankets, food and water dishes, and litter boxes. The cats have ample room for movement within this space, and two family cats often board together.
Playgrounds are a highlight of the kennel. There are 4 minirooms with delightful multi-tier play units from Molly and Friends. Complete with open view skylights, these playrooms relieve the stress of boarding for cats of all ages.
We invite you to visit our Feline Center for a tour and information during any of our regular office hours.
