Sarah graduated from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in pre-veterinary medicine in 2010. She moved to the Gainesville area about 4 years ago and fell in love with all it has to offer.
Sarah has always had a great affinity for animals which has led her to have a crazy dog and three mischievous cats of her own. She enjoys reading, kayaking and exploring all of Florida’s natural treasures in her free time.
Ryan is an enthusiastic worker who enjoys spending his days off doing anything outdoors. He often goes kayaking and hiking but never shies away from a good movie night. Ryan has many animals such as cows, horses, mules, pigs and of course dogs that keep him busy when he is not at work.
Brianna is originally from Labelle, a small town in Southwest Florida. She enjoys spending her free time fishing and canoeing. Brianna also enjoys spending her time with her very high energy Red Nose Pit Bull, “Bocephus”, and relaxing with her lazy cat, “Boots”.
Javier has been a technician with us since August of 2014. He comes from Miami, where he showed cattle and poultry for the FFA organization.
He has a handsome cat named “Yang” and a slithery boa named “Hades”. Javier loves to exercise and body build in his free time. In his spare time, he enjoys wildlife photography.
Danielle recently received her bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Florida. She hopes to go to veterinary school in the near future. She came to us from Boca Raton and enjoys musical theatre.
When Danielle isn’t working, she is trying out new cooking recipes or a reading a good book. Danielle shares her home with a crazy cat named “Sophie” and an adorable guinea pig named “Calvin”.
Khendrea is a New York native who moved to Gainesville a little over a year ago to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Khendrea began with us as a volunteer and upon completion of an externship, was awarded a certification as a Veterinary Assistant from Penn Foster.
When not at work Khendrea enjoys spending time with her husband and dog “Rubble”, listening to music, skyping with her family in New York and walking.
Laura recently graduated from Old Dominion University in Virginia with a degree in biology. She enjoys playing sports and swimming in her free time. Laura loves turtles and is hoping to go to veterinary school at the University of Florida to specialize in aquatic animal health. She also has a pet Russian tortoise named “Tortellini”.
Cassie has just relocated to Gainesville from Kentucky. She graduated from Murray State University with a bachelor’s of science in agriculture in 2015. Cassie is hoping to soon pass the Veterinary Technician National Examination and become a certified technician. She shares her home with her husband, two kids, two cats and two dogs.
