August 2008

Bambo is an adorable 7 month old miniature dachshund. His silver color is very unique and makes him dazzle. Every morning Bambo jumps out of his bed and runs up to his mom Andrea Lopez. He then rolls over so that she will rub his belly. After a long day of playing Bambo loves to sleep. A stuffed duck and a bone are two of his favorite toys to play with.

July 2008

Star is a 9 year old black Greyhound. She is a senior citizen here at Oaks and enjoys sleeping all day. Star also loves to eat and her favorite food is chicken. She is a very sweet dog.

June 2008

Kizzy is a 9 month old chocolate colored Chihuahua. Her favorite pastimes include chasing her tail and playing fetch with her humans. Her favorite toy to fetch is a yellow kitty cat. Kizzy is very lucky because her humans bring her along everywhere with them and she especially loves riding in the car.

May 2008

Fred is a very sweet 15 year old black lab mix. In her younger days Fred loved to play with any kind of ball she could find but these days she enjoys just sitting around and eating Beneful. She is a very gentle and calm dog.

April 2008

Charlie is a 7 year old Pomeranian who always looks very happy. When he wants to know what his humans are talking about he cocks his head to the side. His owner Mary Carnes says that Charlie is very good at catching popcorn and other small treats in his mouth. Charlie loves spending his days with 5 other small dogs and is the leader of this pack.

March 2008

Doogal is a 1 year old Bassett Hound that would sell his soul for food. His owner Donna Tebbett says that Doogal sits in the kitchen and drools as she prepares meals. Doogal spends most of his time sleeping as most Bassett Hounds do and especially enjoys laying tummy side up. He is an extremely energetic and lovable dog.
